THE MEMBERS AND THE VINEYARDS

The 990 members of the LE ROCCHE MALATESTIANE are mainly farmers and vine-growers. Their farms are distributed on the hill and hill-foot territory of the province of Rimini and in some areas of the Marches.
Given the very ancient vine-growing and wine-producing tradition of the territory of Rimini, the local farmers have a very strong devotion and passion for the vineyards growing therefore the growing standard is very high.
The cooperative members are directly supported in the choices related to the creation of new vineyards and to the annual agronomical and phytopathological management. The support is provided by an appointed Technical Department and in accordance with the vine-growing and wine-producing objectives of the Cooperative.
Inside the headquarters of LE ROCCHE MALATESTIANE, the Cooperativa Servizi Agricultura (Cooperative of Services for Agriculture) operates in alignment with the objectives of the Technical Department to monitor the conditions in which pathology can affect the vineyards and the development of the main vineyard parasites in accordance with the pest control criteria.
This Cooperative of Services is also responsible for the collective purchase and distribution to the members of the technical means to plant, protect and grow the vineyards.
