   REBOLA

This variety is described by De Bosis F. in the Ampelographic Bulletins of the Province of 1879 as one of the vines grown in the area of Rimini. We mention Rebola, which today cannot be considered as a variety at risk of extinction, to prove that the recovery of old and forgotten vines can allow to get varieties able to produce wines of excellent quality. Rebola, which today is a DOC wine together with Chardonnay and Sauvignon, is the vine to be used to increase the qualitative standard of the local white wines. |
