SCROCCONA

Antonio Bazzocche in the "Ampelography of the vines of Romagna" of the 1923 describes this variety. It is almost a table grape as it has a pleasant taste and a crisp pulp. In the area of Rimini was scarcely spread in the old rows and mainly used for edible purposes. Scroccona is a rustic vine, with a medium productivity and not-easily rotten grapes.
